Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Â
- Fold in chocolate chips: Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Â
- Cool and serve: Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Tips
Note: For a softer brownie, under-bake by a few minutes. For a chewier brownie, overbake by a few minutes.
